Our shelter project development efforts include securing funding for expansion, developing partnerships with local authorities and organizations, and implementing best practices in shelter management.

Community Health Checks and Support

Implement community health check initiatives in collaboration with Sikh Gurdwaras and other religious places across the UK. These health checks will help identify individuals at risk and refer them to the NHS for further treatment. By providing regular health checks and support, we aim to promote early diagnosis and effective management of Brugada Syndrome. Our community health checks also serve to raise awareness about the condition and encourage proactive health-seeking behaviour among at-risk populations.

  • Partnerships: Establish partnerships with Sikh Gurdwaras, other religious places, and local healthcare providers to conduct community health checks. This includes developing collaboration agreements, coordinating health check events, and providing training and resources to participating organizations.
  • Health Check Events: Organize regular health check events at various locations across the UK. These events will offer free health assessments, consultations with medical professionals, and information on Brugada Syndrome and its management.

Develop and implement educational programs to raise awareness and provide valuable information about Brugada Syndrome. These programs will be tailored to different audiences, including individuals affected by the condition, their families, healthcare professionals, and the general public. Our education and awareness efforts aim to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. The programs will include workshops, seminars, online resources, and informational materials, ensuring that accurate and up-to-date information is readily available to all.

  • Educational Materials: Create and distribute educational materials, including brochures, fact sheets, and online resources, to raise awareness about Brugada Syndrome. These materials will be designed to provide clear and concise information about the condition, its symptoms, and management strategies.
  • Online Resources: Develop a comprehensive online resource center on our website, providing access to educational content, research updates, and support services. This resource centre will serve as a valuable tool for individuals seeking information about Brugada Syndrome.

Disaster Relief Development

Enhance our disaster relief capabilities to provide swift and effective assistance during emergencies. This includes developing a comprehensive disaster response plan, training staff and volunteers in emergency response procedures, and establishing partnerships with other organizations to coordinate relief efforts. Our disaster relief development efforts will focus on building a resilient and responsive organization that can effectively address the needs of individuals and families affected by Brugada Syndrome during times of crisis.

  • Disaster Response Plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive disaster response plan outlining our procedures and protocols for providing emergency relief. This plan will include guidelines for risk assessment, resource allocation, and coordination with other organizations.
  • Training Programs: Offer training programs for staff and volunteers to enhance their skills and knowledge in emergency response. These programs will cover topics such as first aid, crisis intervention, and disaster management.

Our funding strategy involves collaboration with Sikh Gurdwaras and other religious places across the UK to conduct health checks and refer individuals to the NHS. We will work with local authorities and councils to secure funding. Our sources of income will include donations from individuals, payment links, and direct bank transfers. Additionally, we aim to extend our charitable work outside the UK, exploring opportunities for international partnerships and funding. Our funding strategy will prioritize sustainability, ensuring that we have the resources needed to support our mission and goals in the long term.

  • Grant Applications: Identify and apply for grants from government agencies, private foundations, and other funding sources. This includes researching available grants, preparing compelling applications, and managing grant reporting requirements.
  • Corporate Partnerships: Establish partnerships with businesses and corporations to secure sponsorships, donations, and in-kind support. These partnerships will provide valuable resources and help raise awareness about our cause.
  • Fundraising Events: Organize fundraising events, such as charity runs, galas, and community fairs, to generate income and engage with our supporters. These events will also serve as opportunities to raise awareness about Brugada Syndrome and the work of our foundation.
